I have expertise in partial differential equations, inverse problems and scattering theory. Most recently I have focused on the behaviour of waves near sharp corners or high-curvature points and the propagation of waves in graphs, networks and pipes. As an application of the latter I have considered imaging water supply networks with pressure waves and the human vocal tract based on the sound of speech or how it affects a nearby external speaker.
